I'm Katie, founder of Lazy Bake. I am so happy to see you here, and hope you are enjoying my vision brought to life.

During the 2020 lockdown I found myself getting back into one of my favourite hobbies - baking! I dipped into almost every kind of baking you can imagine... hosting themed days for my family. The Mexican and French days were big hits. As I dove even further by trying my hand at sourdough (took 16 days for my starter to start, what drama!), I realised a lot of people wouldn't have the patience or desire to spend this much time and effort over something you will demolish in about 5 minutes.

One thing I did realise though, is everyone loves eating these things, and even more so when they are homemade! And while I don't expect everyone to want or be able to create my *attempted* masterpieces (trust me there were quite a few flops), if I can help someone create delicious homemade treats that they can feel proud of, then I would be spreading my love of baking. 

So I got to work on lazy bake, hoping to spread some home-baked joy. The result is a few simple steps (with all the guess work taken out) that you still get to say 'I baked this!' once completed. Whether it's for you, your kids or a gift for a friend - I hope you have fun with our baking kits and love the tasty results.
